I had a little dream about wanting to give normal women amazing photoshoot experiences. Those little voices in my heart got louder over the years, especially because I’d never seen women who looked like me in the media growing up, and I’ve never done work more meaningful (or more fun!).
After 20 years in a demanding corporate career and 15 years of juggling photography as a side hustle, I took a leap and have never looked back. I’m right there with you on taking chances on yourself.
Make-Up Artists
You can choose between being pampered, or using that £150 as credit towards your photos if you prefer to prep yourself.
If you do opt for the full pampering experience, our make-up artists are carefully chosen and masters of their art.
Jen, Mel and Lisa are our main team and from winning awards to painting famous faces, they are all super talented and, just as importantly, the loveliest of people that will help you relax in our space.
It’s a truly soulful part of the whole experience.
Whether you want to go natural or super glam, they’ll create a look you love.
By the end of your make up session, we’re all like old friends and that connection comes through in your photos.
Fun Facts about Me
1. I’m wife to Sunny who is also a photographer (yay for online dating), and a Mumma to 2 lovely girls. I’m a Chartered Accountant and corporate/ tech world dropout after a 20 year long varied and intense career – the burnout and lack of progression as an under-represented woman was real.
2. I was a ’90s kid – put on a minute of Take That or the 90210 theme tune and I’m 14 all over again!
3. I would spend 4 hours at a time sketching out portraits of celebrities from the posters in Smash Hits as a teenager. Guess we always already know who we are!
4. My husband runs his own portrait photography business for headshots and we started from our little converted garage at the back of our garden!
