Every session is thoughtfully personalised using intentional design, calming music and creative lighting techniques that create timeless high-end portraits and a relaxed environment, and help you leave feeling lighter and more you than when you arrived.

The Studio

Walking into Blush & Wild feels less like entering a photography studio and more like discovering a hidden retreat tucked away from the pace of everyday life.

Lush surroundings, warm wood tones, chilled music and the warmth of people who genuinely care about you create an atmosphere that instantly invites your nervous system to exhale.

The studio is based out in the countryside between Reading & Hook in RG27 0RF so driving or tax is best.

Hi, we’re Sunny & Sharan

Creating meaningful portraits has always been our favourite work. We both took separate routes to get here. Sharan has been building this business since 2008, turning her love of photography into a full time personal mission to help more women see themselves in beautiful photos.

Sunny studied Film at the New York Film Academy and has been running The Headshot Studio separately for almost a decade. We bounce off each other and bring different perspectives to your session and we always do our best to make you feel the most relaxed and comfortable, taking our cues from you and creating a safe space to explore your portrait experience in.

Blush & Wild Portraits was born from a simple belief: the power of seeing yourself in high-end beautiful portrait and boudoir photography can be profound and sometimes even healing. The process and feeling begins long before the first photo is taken. It begins with feeling welcomed, safe and deeply cared for. It’s bolstered by the laughs and good times we have through every session and the deep conversation and connection that is a natural result.

We share the portraiture sessions and Sharan photographs the Boudoir photoshoots on her own so that it’s always run in a female space taken from the feminine gaze.

Our approach blends creative lighting techniques and fine art fashion portraiture inspiration with intuitive care, creating sessions that are both restorative and personalised to your story. Whether you're wanting to finally see yourself in photos you love after a long time, or you’re ready and excited to be celebrated in stunning photos that you are the star of, every photoshoot is designed with intention.

  • From our beautiful countryside studio in our converted barn, every detail has been curated to help you immediately feel at ease.

  • We find that clients relax quickly in our space and the deep connections and chat flow quickly. All of this is important both for your experience and for to create the most connection in your photos.

  • Leave feeling lighter and more connected to yourself than when you arrived. The difference in how people walk out with their heads held a little higher and the big grins on their faces versus the nerves around doing something like this when they arrive can be huge. Watching you relax into it is one of our favourite things.
