All the important details for your Fine Art Portraiture session. Please read all the way through, everything you need to know is here. and there’s an important step at the end

  • These sessions are a little simpler and more raw than the more fantastical flying dresses. These are a celebration of who you are now, to capture you beautifully in a timeless way that says something about who you are now.

    We welcome you to bring a few of your favourite outfits so that we’re capturing a truly individual set of photos for each person who comes in.

  • Feel free to bring any shoes and accessories in your own style as there may also be some full length portraits taken (don’t buy anything new especially!)

    If you would like to try on some flying dresses from our wardrobe whilst you’re here, do bring along a strapless bra if you have one already.

    Bring any makeup / hair products if you would like to touch those up through the session too.

  • Yes of course, just let me know in the questionnaire below and we will design everything around you on the day. This can be simple fine art portraiture, mixed with something a little more glam from our wardrobe and a boudoir option for women if you would like to try that too.

  • Sunny studied in Film many moons ago and has been running The Headshot Studio since 2018, so we are exploring these sessions with his beautiful cinematic style. Sharan will likely be around as well and focuses on any boudoir sections of the session if you’re adding that in but that’s not the focus for this particular experience.

  • Your Reveal will take place either in person straight after your session, or on Zoom within around 7 days, so you don’t have to worry about making the trip back to the studio.

    This is your chance to see your portraits and make your choices. There is absolutely no pressure. You only ever purchase what you truly love.

    Print products can take between 2 to 6 weeks depending on approval timelines for designs. Digital images are delivered much faster.

  • Your initial £29 deposit will come anything that you buy. Or, you can also upgrade to a professional hair and make up artist for £149 if you would like to. After that, it’s completely up to you.     We also offer print bonuses and flexible payments on larger collections if that’s helpful

  • Honestly, a lot of people do when they first arrive but it’s not long before we’re all chatting away like old friends and building up a connection that shows up in your photos too. We will always do what we can to provide a safe, relaxed environment that allows you to blossom in your photos.

Directions

Your session will be held at our gorgeous converted barn studio in Bramshill, a peaceful 15-minute drive from Reading and Hook, tucked away on a beautiful farm.

📍 Directions The address is Unit 2, Moor Place Farm, Plough Lane, Bramshill RG27 0RF. Look for the brown automatic gate next to the big green Maze Hill sign. It opens automatically when you drive up. If you have to press a buzzer, you are at the entrance just before, which is our landlord’s private home. Drive up a little further. Once through the gate (look for a small sign saying Moor Place Offices & Stables), drive past the cars on your right. Turn left just after the bins, very slowly, as we have dogs and animals on the farm. Follow the green building to the left with stables on your right. You’ll see a black barn ahead. Turn left slowly and park in the courtyard. I’ll see you there. Driving or taxi is best as public transport is limited.

Hair & Make-Up

We’re all about showing you how gorgeous you already are. Any makeup only accentuates what you have rather than changing you. It’s the sparkle in your eyes from feeling at ease in our space that makes your photos shine and to be honest, I kind of love when people get ready in their own styles and stay really true to themselves.

We enhance the photos as a whole and remove any temporary marks or blemishes, but we always want to stay true to you. You get to decide how much or how little editing you’d like.

We only work with a small, carefully chosen group of hair and makeup artists, tried, tested, and producing beautiful results in line with how you want to feel. They’re experts across all skin tones and hair types and honestly, they’re just genuinely lovely people who’ll help you settle in.

This experience is about capturing your own glow though, so we actually really welcome you getting yourself ready for this for a more relaxed experience. Either way, you’ll look incredible.
